Our city of 1307 homes was founded in 1954. We are very proud of our quiet, wooded environment, and as a community, we work hard to preserve it for future generations. Our homes are located in a truly unique area, and as Houston continues to grow, the environment in the Memorial Villages will become even more in demand.

Hedwig Village offers a quiet place for you and your family to relax from the hustle and bustle
of the big city. Our schools located in the Spring Branch I. S.D. have won several awards for
excellence. Also to maintain the security and peace of mind of our citizens, we have a Police
Department which is fully trained and staffed. Our citizens lives and property are also protected
by the Village Fire Department, which is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Spring Valley Village

Spring Valley Village is one of the six Memorial Villages and was incorporated as a City in 1955. Located ten miles west of downtown Houston, the City of 3,611 people spans 1.6 miles.
